Classical Evening - FREE STUFF

Who said Foxes aren't Cultured?

Well, quite frankly your guess is as good as mine ........ but I thought I would share a few pictures of my recent visit to the Royal Albert Hall.

Really excited about seeing Julian Lloyd Webber play Elgar with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Here's me getting ready ... I thought I would 'posh up' and wear my best silk bow tie.

Looking Good!

Here's me outside the RAH.

WOW ..... it's a pretty impressive building!

Well here I am inside the RAH .... the architecture is amazing and we've got great seats right next to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra ..... it's looking to be a great night!

POSH OR WHAT!

Blimey ..... I've never seen an organ that big.
That really is something else!

Here's me enjoying the concert ..... great sound .... particularly enjoyed Nimrod and the bit where I got to sing 'Land of Hope and Glory' at the end!

Julian Lloyd Webber only played one number 'Elgar's Cello Concerto'
and then he popped off ....
think he must have left the washing machine on!

I found this fantastic display in the walk way on the way to the bar ... seems the RAH are big Fox fans too!

All in all a great evening .... the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra were absolutely fantastic!

The performance has inspired me to create some artwork .....

...... working on my illustration
whilst puss enjoys the autumn sunshine!

Hmm ... that turned out okay!

All finished ....... as usual I've made a PDF so you can print and make your own card to send to someone you love. :)

Just click the link below and press print:

I've made the picture just the right size for a 4"x6" card ...... so all you have to do is purchase some blank cards and stick the picture on.

There's a little envelope label too .... just to finish things off!

Really hope you enjoy making this card ....... maybe you have a musical friend or family member that might appreciate receiving it.

Pumpkin Carving - FREE STUFF

Charlie Carves a Pumpkin

It's wet, cold and windy outside today, so I've decided to stay in the warm and carve my pumpkin.

I'm looking through my collection of vintage foxy postcards to try and get a bit of inspiration.

This Scottish wool blanket is lovely and warm!

I was really taken by my hand painted silhouette card, so decided to make some preliminary sketches.

Tum tee tum tee tum ........

I've made a PDF template of my designs so that you can give it a go yourself.

Just click the link below and press print:

Time for some scooping out.

I'm going to share the seeds with our Wood Pigeons later!

I placed my template over the pumpkin and scored over the design with a biro which worked quite well.

I then went over the design with a permanent marker, just to be on the safe side.

I scored around the image with a knife first, then peeled off the skin before carving chunks out of the pumpkin.

Have you spotted the deliberate mistake?
I'm holding the knife upside down and it's far too big for me ....
of course I swapped it for a smaller one to carve my pumpkin!

Just a few health a safety announcements before I show you the finished pumpkin.

If you do try this yourself please take your time and be careful when using sharp knives ..... we wouldn't want any accidents would we?

Always use a tea light safety candle for inside your pumpkin.  And, if you are having a party and it's likely that your guests are 'gonna get a bit pissed up' please put your pumpkin in a safe place where it can't get knocked over. xx

And finally ...... a few snaps of the finished pumpkin!

FOXTASTIC!

Halloween Crafting - FREE STUFF

Free Labels For You to Print and Use

Decided to get the old paints out today and do a bit of art work.

This brush must be mine!

No idea what the 'H' stands for though!

Here's me working hard on my foxy illustration for Halloween.

Just a bit more orange needed there I think!

I'm pretty pleased with the results, time to whack it through the scanner and make a PDF.

Here's me stuck in the scanner!

Scanner lid slammed shut on me ...... wasn't expecting that!

Got a couple of toffees there to keep me going!

Cut out the labels.

You can PRINT the PDF sheet of labels for yourself, just copy the URL below in to your address bar and then press print:

Love PVA .... it's so versatile!

Now it's time to stick the labels on the envelopes and jars, ready to fill with sweets.

TARR DARR ..... 'Trick or Treat' jars and envelopes all finished ...... just gotta pop up the shops now because I accidentally ate all the sweets whilst working on my illustration ..... oopsy doopsy!

Trick or Treat

Hooray .... it's that pumpkin time of year again!

I've managed to acquire myself this lovely big pumpkin, which I found just lying on the ground whilst sniffing around the local allotments .... RESULT!

What a beauty!

Can't wait to start carving my lantern ...  I have a really 'foxtastic' idea for this one, which I will share with you later on in my blog.

In the meantime me and my mates have been out doing a bit of early trick or treating.

Unfortunately we got busted by the local gutter press, who as usual, decided to write a load of old b*lox about us instead of getting off their arses and doing some proper research!

Cracking good fun!

I love celebrating Autumn ..... have some great crafty ideas which I will share with you soon!

Will leave you with a photo of the stash we collected on our first trick or treat adventure, whilst I set about returning Squirrel's laundry basket before she notices it's missing! xx
